Thank you all so very much for your support of this petition and efforts to protect the waters off the coast of Cape Cod and in the Gulf of Maine.

The offshore wind leases in this area are scheduled to begin today at 9:00am ET and can be tracked here:

Although we were not able to stop these wind lease sales from starting today, we must remain vigilant in making our voices heard regarding these critical issues for our oceans. 

Please continue to communicate your concerns with local and state leaders (as I will too). Also for local and state leaders who are up for election, be sure to consider their actions or lack thereof with respect to offshore wind when casting your vote.
