I want to refer to my earlier posts from May 27, 2025, May 28, 2025, and May 29, 2025, about my little princess, Mariam, who is now 7 years old.

She is the daughter of a Muslim Canadian mother who continues to face prejudice, racism, and hatred from some officials — simply because she chooses to practice her faith peacefully and wears the niqab.

For more than 3.5 years, an officer has controlled my daughter’s file and delayed issuing her Permanent Residence (PR) without any legal reason, humanitarian concern, or respect for the best interests of a child.

This situation is heartbreaking and unfair. Every child deserves safety, stability, and love — not to suffer because of her mother’s faith or appearance.

• UPDATE ON MARIAM’S SITUATION: 

Since October 2024, my daughter Mariam has lost her OHIP health coverage from Service Ontario — without any compassion or consideration for her basic human needs.

Now, after more than a year, things have become even worse and our Respected Canadian Government ignoring listining to our voices or even to protect the child, Mariam, 7 years old.

Mariam’s Jordanian passport, which is neccessary to be valid to continue her PR Process, expired in October 2025, and she LOST her CANDIAN legal residency status as a visitor visa since 2021 in Canada over a month ago. None of this is her fault. She is just a human being who deserves to live under justice and dignity.

Mariam is a Muslim child who loves visiting the mosque and wearing her hijab proudly, like a little queen. She is innocent, has no criminal record, and deserves protection and safety — especially from her father’s violence.

Her mother, a Palestinian Canadian citizen, should be under federal protection since 2021 in Canada because of the father’s extreme violence. The federal government helped her and her two Canadian-born children — together with Mariam (who was only 2 years old then) — to move to Canada for safety.

Now, renewing Mariam’s Jordanian passport is impossible, because contacting the Jordanian embassy would put her mother at serious risk. The embassy has been acting on false accusations from the father, who filed charges in Jordan without the mother’s knowledge and without ever giving her access to the documents in 2023 and up to date.

Mariam deserves to live safely in Canada — with her family, her faith, and her rights protected.

• CONTINUED INJUSTICE FROM IRCC AND THE IGNORING OF COURT JUDGMENTS: 

For many years, I have been in constant communication with IRCC about my daughter's file. Specially, after the 16-day court trial, which ended with releasing the judgment on February 16, 2024, I continued to reach out to IRCC, hoping for fairness and justice.

However, instead of helping, IRCC has continued to make our case more complicated, breaking Canadian rules and principles that are supposed to protect families and children. It feels like this has been done only to harm a Muslim family who has done nothing wrong, or rather to separate the children from their families to change their relegion as what happened with the native people.

The court judgment clearly confirmed that I am innocent of the false claim of abducting my children, and that I have the full, solely decion-making and custody over my three children. At the time we left Kuwait due to expired my visa status in Kuwait, 2021, the Jordanian Nation father never had any decision-making or custody rights under Sharia Law for Sunnah. In fact, three judges in the Appeal Court of Kuwait had already withdrawn all his authority over the children because of his violence. The FINAL court orders in Kuwait confirmed that the father is restricted from making any decisions about the three children, ensuring their protection from further harm.

Yet despite all this, IRCC continues to ignore the clear evidence and judgments made by the courts. This raises a serious concern:
If a family with full legal proof and court protection cannot find justice or safety in Canada, then how can any family believe they are truly protected under the law?

• COMMUNICATION FROM THE MP AND RESPONSE TO IRCC’S POSITION BEFORE THE EXPIRATION OF MARIAM'S JORDANIAN PASSPORT OF 3 DAYS ONLY:

Continuosly, my Member of Parliament (MP) in London, Ontario, contacted IRCC to ask about Mariam’s file. The MP shared the following update:

• “Typically, a valid passport is required when applying for a Temporary Resident Visa (TRV). However, IRCC is aware of the complex situation. Although a positive outcome is not guaranteed, the applicant may submit a visitor record application without the passport, including a detailed explanation for the passport’s non-renewal and supporting documents.”

• “Given the complexity of the family’s situation, the applicants are advised to consult with a legal professional to explore all available options (such as a Temporary Resident Permit). The application cannot be transferred from an overseas office to an office within Canada, and it must continue to be processed by the original visa office as per standard procedures.”

This response clearly shows that IRCC continues to insist on unfound ground in our file and false rules not related to our case, even though they have known about our special humanitarian situation for years. They also admit there is no guarantee that the case can be solved without a passport.

To the IRCC officer who has held this file for more than 3.5 years — if this endless delay is intentional, and if you choose to ignore the truth that shines as bright as a diamond, how can I believe that remaining silent will fix this unfair and unofficial process? Ohhhhh officer, just for knowledge, our file is not between your hand, and not under your authority. Our matters at all is between our Lord's hands, and we are totally satisfied of his Almighty decisions. We are the believers that his almighty decisions hide great wisdom and beneficial for our Ummah. 

The free and faithful people will never stay silent in the face of oppression. Justice and compassion must prevail.

• NO GUARANTEE OF JUSTICE OR PROTECTION IN CANADA:

For sure, I agree — there is no guarantee that my daughter’s Permanent Residence (PR) application can be completed without a valid passport and visa stamp, especially after more than 3.5 years of delay without any reason.

For sure, I agree — there is no guarantee that children can truly be protected with their families in today’s Canada, even after our esteemed government apologized for the painful history of Indigenous peoples.

For sure, there are officials who abuse their authority, using their power to harm children by separating them from their families. And there is no guarantee that our esteemed government will stop them, even when voices have been ignored for more than three years.

For sure, I agree — there is no guarantee that (PRACTICAL) justice system has truly changed its past treatment of women or recognizes their full human rights, especially considering that before the 19th century, a woman in Canada was not even considered a human being under the law.

Certainly, the reality shows that children’s best interests are often not respected, even though the law says otherwise. Every child remains at risk of being taken away from their family, faith, and loved ones — just as we studied in the history of the Indigenous peoples of this land.

For sure, I agree — the racism faced by Viola Desmond, when she was unjustly imprisoned by a person in authority, is the same injustice now faced by thousands, if not millions, of women today, silently.

For sure, I agree — racism against Muslims still exists, and despite our government’s efforts and millions spent to fight Islamophobia, some officials themselves act with hatred against Muslims, especially against Muslim women who freely practice their faith and wear the niqab. STOP that is NOT guaranteed!

For sure, I agree — not every judge who sits (in Canadian Justice System) above the people truly represents justice, wisdom, or respect for the law. There is no guarantee of fairness.

For sure, I agree — even the rights of Canadian citizens are often not respected. There is no guarantee that these rights will be given, not even the simple right to freedom of movement or protection. My own Canadian-born children have been prevented from moving from London, Ontario, based on their father's request (who resides overseas- Kuwait) and he is not Candian Citizen! Even though I submitted all official papers for my move to Ottawa to complete my architecture engineering bachelors degree equivalency at Carleton University. Even after the judgment which confirms my innocence from the abduction case as I mentioned above!

For sure, I agree — even the rights of Canadian citizens are often not respected. There is no guarantee that citizens will have their rights to speak out about the oppression they face without facing many continuous attempts to silence them.

For sure, I agree — there are no fulfilled dreams in Canada, no true protection for those in danger, whether from abroad or from officials who hate Muslims.

There are no guarantees… No guarantees from our government of Canada — because that is the limit of their power. That is the truth!

And finally, I swear by ALLAH Almighty: there is no guarantee for those who plan harm against my children. They are under the protection of ALLAH, who alone can protect the faith that was planted and rooted in their hearts before they were even born — while they were still carried inside a Muslim mother’s womb.

So ooooh oppresions! Plan whatever you wish — but nothing will happen to us except what ALLAH ALMIGHTY has written for us.
And we are filled with love, faith, and gratitude for whatever He decrees -Almighty-.
Alhamdu-LELLAH that while we the "Canadian Citizens" are facing the oppresion and prejudice against a woman with three kids in this land, our Lord -ALLAH Almighty- is just.
