Stop NYS ban on flavored E-Juice and E-Cigs as well as flavored Cigars
Stop NYS ban on flavored E-Juice and E-Cigs as well as flavored Cigars
The Issue
Dear fellow New Yorkers , Gov Hochul, and NY Senate
I urge you to sign this petition in support to unban flavored nicotine products that was put into effect by Gov Cuomo due to the “health effects caused by flavored nicotine” which ended up being unfounded and more closely related to black market products and THC sold on black market.
Now I am sure we can all agree that nicotine shouldn’t ever be in the hands of children and young teens and NYS needs to better fix advertisement limitations but a flavor ban won’t fix that issue either in fact it makes nicotine products more accessible to children through the black market which is unregulated and more risky look around you go to any school yard and I guarantee you’ll see a handful of students vaping e cigs in a bathroom , outside the school yard or even in class I also urge you to look around at the adults I can guarantee you adult vapers are still using flavored products as tobacco flavor is horrible
I myself started smoking cigarettes and vapes young I went from cigs , to vaping back to cigs and finally stayed with vaping I smoked roughly 2.5 packs of cigs a day I started vaping to be in better health and it worked I noticed health issues brought on by cigarette smoke fading after a few months of vaping and I still vape to this day custard monster Blueberry salt Nic 48mg I also use a rare cigar/cigarillo here and there maybe twice a year and they are flavored and sometimes not but flavored nicotine has saved me I can breath better , I don’t always smell like smoke and I feel better
So fellow New Yorkers please support my petition to unban flavored nicotine products such as E- Juice , E Cigs , salt nic, and flavored cigars and support the state to make better marketing limitations to the companies that do not appeal as much to children without banning flavors
