Nintendo has recently raised the prices of their products heavily, causing other companies to do the same thing such as Xbox and possibly PlayStation to follow which could cause a market inflation in the gaming industry making gaming related products harder to afford in a world where you’re lucky to be able to afford a house. We need to draw a line somewhere or things will keep becoming more expensive. Along side that the indie game company pocket pair creators of the game palworld are stuck in a vicious law suit with nintendo and the Pokémon company over alleged copyright right infringement forcing the creators to make changes to the game such as getting rid of the pal spheres which slightly resembled pokeballs, taking away the ability to glide with certain pals. If you want to do more research into the palworld case look up patent jp 7545191 patent jp 7493117 and patent jp 7528390. Each patent being filed from around the time palworld was revealed until some time during its release and life time. While patents are perfectly legal and we can’t change that the time that they came out would suggest that nintendo is trying to snuff it before it had a chance, it harms the market by limiting creativity our society as a whole is made on the foundation of creativity and innovation. What we ultimately aim to do is to boycott nintendo to spread awareness so that more and more will stop buying anything from them so we can make a change. So stick with your old switch or Xbox or ps5 because the whole market is changing we need to tell these corrupt corporations that we are not their toys and they CANNOT play with us any longer. If we show enough distain for what nintendo has done with their pricing the rest of the industry will follow.
