With Reference To The Pennant Walters Trecelyn Wind Farm - The Decision Is Now Out Of PEDW'S Hands And It Has Boiled Down To The Welsh Ministers.  What That Will Probably Mean Is A Rebecca Evans  ( Cabinet Secretary ) Decision.

You Have To Wonder Why The PEDW Part Of This Process Exists?

This Is Not The First Time The Decision Making Has Been Taken From PEDW. Even If They See It Through To The End, Someone Like Rebecca Evans Can Still Override PEDW'S Decision?

I Wonder If The Whole PEDW Process Is Just To Humour The Public? So Far It Just Seems Like A Waste Of The Tax Payers Money. 

As I Mentioned In My Last Update, RES Hinted In Their Recent New Documents The Idea Of A Decision Being Taken By The Welsh Ministers And Referenced Garn Fach and the ‘wholly exceptional circumstances' Line Used As An Excuse To Just Destroy The Peat For That Particular Development. Looks Like They Could Be Laying The Foundations For A Simular Outcome. ( Remember With The Trecelyn Developent They Want To Destroy  over 1 solid Acre of Woodland and 56 individual Trees that home the Bats and birds )

This In Tern Means PEDW Get To Avoid Looking At:- The Homes Supplied Figures, Which Pennant Walters Made No Attempt To Supply Any Calculations. ( Every Official, So Far, Has Avoided Looking into The Source Figures From OFGEM With The (median) home energy split to 80% gas and 20% electric)., The Electric Consumption From The Grid On No Wind Days. The Decrease In Capacity And Load Factor - None Of These Developments Will Make The Electric Output They Claim Over The Distance Of Time They Claim. 

For Now We Will Watch This Space As The Welsh Government Try To Justify Turning  Their Back On Our Beautiful Countryside.
