Now is a good time if you want to send a quick brief email to your local councillor, (nothing to detailed), Just to ask their view and stand point on this poor location choice for a industrial size wind farm.

If you are in the Torfaen Borough:-

Currently Labour is the majority Party in Torfaen. They will vote as they are instructed by their leader 'Councillor Anthony Hunt'. So its worth obtaining his view as he holds the majority and will ( Whip ) his party to vote as he sees.

Again Labour has the majority. Their leader is 'Councillor Sean Morgan'

Who no doubt will influence his party to follow his view as well.

Even if you live outside of the borough areas, there's no harm in sending a quick email if you love the mountain and wish to express your view!

Remember you may have to forward your emails to them a few times to get a response.

Around 20 years ago the same mountain was under threat of a wind farm. Both Councils joined forces with the local residents and managed to get it stopped.

It would be nice if something similar could happen again and they decide to help us defend our mountain!
