I have a very treatable condition, but because my insurance won't cover my medication I will not survive my next flare. I have called my insurance company multiple times and they say "You have Hospice benefits though" There are so many deaths associated with insurance companies denying Healthcare like procedures, medication, and much more. Sign this petition to pass a law that will force insurance companies to cover medical care (no matter what it is) if a doctor says its necessary. Unless we do something to fix this more and more people will die. Insurance companies should not be profiting off of this. I am only 22 years old and there are people much younger who are going through the same thing. If the insurance companies won't fix this then we have too.
