On October 28th 2025, the NSW Government released its Enablement Plan, which proposes reducing Moore Park Golf Course from 18 holes to 9. We understand that this announcement may cause concern for our community who hold Moore Park Golf close to their hearts.

Please be assured that we are actively engaging with the Government to present a strong case for why maintaining an 18-hole course is the best way forward. We firmly believe that the current Alternate Proposal that we have presented to the Government, provides the best solution to improve the recreational, social, and sporting facilities in Moore Park. 

As part of the consultation process the Government is seeking public opinion on their plan and we need as many of you as possible to respond either by completing the Guided Submission or via Your own submission.

The guided submission questions are very skewed towards a positive response to the Government plan so if you have time, submitting a personal response using the Your Own Submission portal would be preferable.

When responding it is important to personalize your answers and illustrate why an 18-hole golf course is so important and what affect it will have on you should their plan go ahead.
