Afternoon everyone,
A few quick updates from me today, as always, the links are above and the explanations are below:
- There's still savings to be made on energy deals, E.ON are currently the cheapest in the market, their fixed rate tariff is £96 cheaper than this price cap, which means it'll be around £150 cheaper than the January cap, get your savings by switching today.
- Uswitch seem to displaying a variety of greener tariffs this week, with the So Energy green 12m fixed tariff reaching the top 3 for the first time. This tariff is over £90 less than the current cap, so it’s worth a look if you’ve not fixed yet and you’re interested in investing in greener companies.
- We received a response from Ofgem last week on our queries on the British Gas investigation and on the Headroom Allowance question, I’ve posted that response on my website now with information on what my response is going to be.
- After seeing my dad be told he’s about to pay £98 per month by Virgin Media for a package deal that is available on their website for £33, I decided to start a new petition calling on Ofcom to properly regulate the cost of broadband packages. Please check out my new petition, sign it and share it if it’s something that you agree with.
As I said, just a quick update today, thank you everyone for the continued support, lets get control of our regulators!
Speak soon all!
