I spoke to the town planner assigned to this proposal today and she has assured me that she shares the communities concerns about the impacts on traffic in the area and that therefore due process is very much in full effect. Traffic experts from Auckland Transport and the Auckland Council have been deployed to further assess the situation and the results of their investigation are expected within two weeks. After that the Town planning are required to make their recommendation as expediently as possible and they current expect this to be no later than mid November.

So thank you for all your support. Please continue to spread the word as far and wide as you can - the more support we have, the more of a chance the Town Planners will take our concerns seriously!
