A few weeks ago, Mark Rutte called Netanyahu's threat of an attack on Rafah a "gamechanger" and a red line.
But now that Netanyahu has actually started slaughtering children in Rafah, Mark Rutte suddenly no longer thinks that a red line is being crossed.
Because for Mark Rutte, children don't matter. For him, only the ORIGIN of the children determines whether it is a problem if they are murdered

In January this year, a group of officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs wrote an anonymous letter to the Court of Appeal in The Hague. They warned that Mark Rutte is constantly sweeping politically unwelcome information about Netanyahu under the rug.
“A request from the Ministry of General Affairs to the Legal Affairs Directorate of Foreign Affairs reads as follows,” NRC newspaper quotes from the letter from the officials:
“Mark Rutte asked: “What can we say to make it seem like Netanyahu is not committing war crimes?”
