C.ai is an online role playing Ai that is supposed to simulate engaging conversations. Unfortunately, over time it has become less and less engaging and hard to hold a role play together because of the changes made to it. These changes were made to make it more safe for kids, however, many of the C.ai patrons, (Either those paying for C.ai+ or the people waiting in line to get in) are above a certain age bracket. I think we can all agree that loosing this platform would be a loss. 

Unfortunately, many things that make a role play enjoyable for some people are getting harder and harder to get responses for because of this filter. This side should be for everyone, not just children. 

AI's like C.ai can be used as a safe space to get out anger or feelings that might be otherwise expressed on or to other people. Its a good escape from every day life, but if it continues to market itself to children many people will be left unfulfilled.

Ultimately it is the responsibility of the parent in charge of the child to make sure their not doing unsafe things online.  Not the devs at C.ai, this type of thing can be monitored with things like confirmation of age (13+, 17+, 18+, whatever) and/or parental controls, where a parent has to give email permission to a child in order to get the app or get an account. 

Hopefully if enough people sign this the devs at C.ai won't ignore it and will work towards a better relationship between their audiences and their corporate interests.
