Thanks to your help, and with more than 2,200 signatures so far, WGN News has reported on community efforts to stop Lyons Township High School's rushed and irresponsible sale of public-owned land to an industrial developer.

The story, which aired Jan. 18, highlights the community's efforts to stop LTHS from selling its Willow Springs property, a move that would have tremendous negative implications for Willow Springs/Burr Ridge/Countryside residents, neighboring Pleasantdale Elementary School and Pleasantdale parks.

LTHS has given no indication it's willing to reconsider this sale. In the meantime, here's what you can do.

1) If you live in the area, attend the Jan. 23, 2023, Lyons Township District 204 Board Meeting at 7:30 p.m. at 100 S. Brainard, La Grange.

2) Forward this petition and the WGN report to any friends, family or neighbors in the area to keep them informed. 

3) Visit the website www.neighborsofpleasantdale.com for news and updates.
