NO NEW QUARRY IN HANOVER

Friends and neighbors,

We’ve come so far together — but we can’t let up now. Luck Stone may return as early as November with a new “cultural and historical” report for its quarry proposal. If that happens, Hanover County could move forward with the next round of hearings.

That means we’ll need everyone ready — to show up, speak up, and stand together for our community.

Here’s what’s ahead:
 Historical Review Meeting: SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 6TH.
Planning Commission Meeting: Not yet scheduled — where staff and commissioners review and vote on a recommendation to the Board of Supervisors.
Board of Supervisors Meeting: Not yet scheduled — this is the final vote that decides whether Luck Stone’s quarry is approved or denied.

These next meetings are critical. We must fill every seat and make sure our voices — our homes, our water, and our peace — are impossible to ignore.

Meetings usually begin at 6:00 PM

The Planning and Supervisors' meetings will not be scheduled until Luck Stone returns answers to the community's questions to the County.  Keep watch here for updates.
