The Gold Butterfly project plan was just published. It calls for 750 acres of commercial logging in Old Growth Forests. 350 acres will be "regenerated" which means essentially clearcutting 250 year old trees and leaving younger trees to become old growth in say 150 years. They claim that the other 400 acres will be commercially logged (which means building roads and running machines through this pristine forest area) will retain Old Growth characteristics. This is impossible, you cannot run machines through untouched soil and established undergrowth without destroying the integrity of the forest. Please pass this petition on to others to sign.
