Liverpool city council has decided to increase pay and display hours and rates across the city from previous times of 8am to 6pm and now the hours have been increased to 7am to 11pm.

This will affect all local small to large businesses, employees, outside vendors and the entirety of Liverpool residents.

This will now mean it'll cost you thousands of pounds extra yearly to park up for work and leisure.  It could even cost you your job and business as this will deter people from going into the likes of the city centre to spend what little, hard, earned money they would have left.

Imagine having having to pay to come into the city centre or the docks for a leisurely evening stroll, or having dinner with your family, or coming into the city centre for retail shopping after work.  It's just not right.

Act now by signing and sharing this petition to at least work towards the hours and rates being reduced back to 8am to 6pm.  It is imperative that we stop our hard earned money from being stolen right in front of us and our right to freely travel from place to place be protected.
