Breakthrough at last?

In a recent Yorkshire Post Article, Rishi Sunak, one of the remaining two potential Prime Minister candidates has vowed to scrap the Linton on Ouse Plan, agreeing that it is the wrong plan in the wrong place.

Liz Truss, the other potential candidate has previously stated in the Yorkshire Evening Press that she too would not go ahead with the plan as well, although has been more mute on her position lately.

The Linton On Ouse Action group welcome this news, and also kindly look forward to Liz Truss clearly setting out her position in the near future.

In the mean time, please 

• Continue to sign and share the petition
• Continue to lobby your MP to put pressure on Liz Truss to formally make clear her position or 
• Continue to Lobby your MP to object to the Linton on Ouse plans and overall plan to use reception centres in ANY location
• If you are based in Witham Consititency, write to your MP (Priti Patel) directly voicing your objections
