Hi everyone,
First thanks so much for signing this petition and an extra huge thank you to those who kicked in to promote it. Some of you went above and beyond and I can't thank you enough!
By the response I'm guessing there are a lot more horror stories out there about the Lawndale Municipal Services Department. If anyone wants to share their story, I've created a subreddit. I think it would help to get attention.

If you want to read court docs from the "Lawndale v. LA Investments LLC case you can find some here.

This share has a lot of fun stuff, like Form 400 gift declarations. Those law firms like to wine and dine the mayor. I'm not saying it's illegal, but it doesn't look good. Or, see the recently resigned City Managers separation agreement where they gave him $70k walking away money.

My nightmare isn't over. I've been cited three times for legally exempt items based solely from an online real estate ad. No one has ever physically inspected my property. That's just one M.O. troll people who are selling their homes, harass and cite them based on photoshopped pictures.
Maybe I'm just a stubborn old jerk and do have one or two things that would require a permit, but I don't react well to bullying or having my civil rights violated, so I chose to fight.
I have another sham administrative hearing at Lawndale City Hall this Thursday (01/28/26) at 11:30am. If anyone wants to show up for moral support.
All that said, none of this will change until we shine a bright light on it.
I think Lawndale wasting nearly $300,000 of taxpayer money on a completely fabricated malicious lawsuit is newsworthy. I've tried contacting the media but unfortunately, I'm just one angry guy yelling into a sea of bad news.
It would surely help if they heard from more people. I’ve put together a list of media contacts below. If you have a minute send them an email and tell them why you want answers to how there can be so little oversight and accountability. I mean, one of the primary instigators of that debacle was just promoted to Acting City Manager.
Again thanks so much!
Let's pump up the volume up.
