Missoula County will hear proposals from a local developer and engineering firm about their interest in redeveloping a local golf course into a housing development.

Larchmont Golf Course is a 153 acre golf course covered by thousands of trees and used by people and animals alike for more than just golf. If development occurs it will overwhelm schools, streets  and local resources while destroying some of the best open spaces left in the Missoula valley. The golf course is one of Missoula’s largest and most popular hosting local and regional events every year. Please help Missoula protect there open space as they voted

On November 6, 2018, Missoula County residents voted in support of a $15 million dollar general obligation bond for the purpose of:

- conserving, enjoying, and enhancing open space land, including public access;

- conserving agricultural lands, fish and wildlife habitat, and rivers, lakes, and streams;

- protecting scenic views; and

- making improvements to open space lands.
