Hapara is a chrome extension allowing teachers to view students' screens and close their tabs. In theory, this is fine, however, many students use their school computers for private things such as tracking their mental health. Other students are unable to work properly if they know they are being watched. Both of these make school more difficult for those who aren't off-topic and aren't goofing off in class. Many students do indeed play games, but that can be prevented by more teacher supervision. As well as this, teachers will often close your tabs for unsaved work which UNDOES your schoolwork.
