My journey has been a challenging one, being disabled, and the recent cutting of Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefits has only made it tougher. Yet it's not only me who's affected. Thousands, if not millions, across the nation face the same plight, thus thrusting hardship not only on disabled individuals, but on their families, carers, and every ally who supports their journey. 

This is why we started the initial campaign fighting against PIP cuts - and your signoff and donations have brought us exceedingly close to achieving a critical mass of public opinion. However, we need to keep this momentum, and this petition is a small gesture to appreciate all those who have stood with us in this fight. 

According to the Office for National Statistics, there were 13.9 million disabled people reported in the UK in 2019-2020. Any cut to the PIP benefits affects this substantial part of the population, shifting an undue burden onto those who care and support these disabled individuals.
