I'm a resident and passionate animal lover in Los Angeles who is deeply disturbed by the current threat to LA's animal services and shelters. The increasing concerns are about Karen Bass' proposed budget cuts, which harm not only animals, but dedicated workers. Animals in these shelters can't speak for themselves.
