The movie “Farha,” was released this week on Netflix.  It is based on real events in which even babies were murdered. This took place during the 1948 war to create the state of Israel.

Palestinians remember the event as the Nakba, or catastrophe because more than 700,000 Palestinians were expelled from their homes and 400-600 villages were  destroyed. Biological warfare was used to kill families through poisoning of wells.

Nakba has been commemorated by the UN.

Israel is trying to pressure Netflix to stop airing the movie. There are change.org petitions asking Netflix to stop promoting “fake news”.

Holocaust was real and so is ethnic cleansing of Palestinians by Israel. The truth must be told so we can remember the victims and stop atrocities from continuing.

Kudos to Netflix on making fact based decisions and releasing this movie. It was very disturbing to watch but we all must watch it!
