Hello Supporters!

The Quorum Court is the governing body that can pass a moratorium or an ordinance protecting the health, safety and welfare of it's community.  This has not happened in Carroll County and now, there is rumors of another wind company trying to get lease contracts from the north side of Berryville and Green Forest property owners.

Many property owners, once fully informed, regret signing wind leases.  An appropriate wind turbine siting ordinance would protect everyone's property rights.

The forty year old wind company setback of turbine height for the collapse zone is unsafe, out-dated and proven ineffective.  Headlines in Wellsville, NY proved flaming fiberglass debris traveled over one mile into a non-turbine participating neighbor's hay field, causing ruination, destruction, and contamination, both on the hay fields and loss of income.

Therefore, a One and half mile setback minimum is needed in an ordinance. Please contact your Justice of the Peace of the Quorum Court requesting action.

On average, most wind companies have been overtly obtaining leases for six years, before the public ever finds out. All Arkansas counties are at risk. Be pro-active, like they were with the Bit-Coin, Data Mining Ordinance!
