Ayot2inapa and 28,000 families need your support

Dear all, Thanks for your support, so far we have been able to collect 160 signatures on paper and 61 online. Organizations such as Asociación Esperanza contra la Desaparición Forzada y la Impunidad AC as well as Red Enlace have agree to endorse this petition and are signing the letter. Mexican Commission for Defense and Promotion of Human Rights are supporting this action, and will be delivering signatures collected to Mexican Senate next Wednesday September 28th. For this reason we need your support by spreading the word among your neighbors, colleagues, family and friends for getting our goal of delivering 150 signatures online. Nonetheless we still will be gathering signatures until October 10th, and then we will deliver them to international organisms. Under this situation of crisis, we should struggle not only against authorities responsible for these crimes and against a disfunctional and corrupted state, we also need to struggle against apathy, sadness and inactivity. Organized civil society needs to protest on the streets, to inform others through social networks, to sign petitions and demand truth and justice, to put social, political and legal pressure on Mexican government, to denounce impunity in Mexico and around the world. La Comisión Mexicana en Defensa y Promoción de los Derechos Humanos también apoya esta petición y el próximo miércoles 28 entregará las firmas al Senado. Por esta razón pedimos su apoyo de carácter urgente para dar a conocer esta situación y pedir a sus vecinos, colegas, amigos y familiares que firmen esta petición y lograr así nuestro objetivo de reunir 150 firmas en línea. De cuaquier forma seguimos recabando firmas hasta el 10 de octubre para después entregarlas a organismos internacionales. En esta situación de crisis debemos combatir no solamente a las autoridades responsables y a un estado disfuncional y corrupto, también debemos combatir la apatía, la tristeza y la inacción.
