Stop Immediate Leadership Positions for Former TMC Leaders in BJP West Bengal
The Issue
We, the supporters and voters of BJP in West Bengal, would like to respectfully raise our concern regarding the increasing inclusion of former TMC leaders into key leadership positions within BJP immediately after elections.
The people of West Bengal voted for BJP with hope, trust, and belief in ideological change and clean governance. Thousands of dedicated BJP workers and supporters have struggled for years at the grassroots level, often facing political pressure and challenges while standing firmly with the party.
At the same time, many leaders who were previously associated with TMC actively supported and represented the very system that BJP supporters voted against. If such individuals are immediately given important leadership roles within BJP after joining the party, it deeply affects the morale of long-time BJP workers and weakens the trust of voters.
This is not against any individual personally. Every democratic party has the right to expand. However, leadership positions should be earned through commitment, contribution, and loyalty toward the party and its ideology over time.
Our Demands
We respectfully request BJP leadership to:
- Avoid immediately granting leadership positions to former TMC leaders after joining BJP.
- Prioritize long-time BJP workers and grassroots supporters for leadership opportunities.
- Maintain ideological integrity and public trust within the party.
- Introduce a proper evaluation and waiting period before assigning key organizational roles to leaders from rival parties.
Why This Matters
West Bengal voters supported BJP because they wanted political change and a different style of leadership. Ignoring the sentiments of dedicated supporters may lead to disappointment among voters and workers who have consistently stood by the party.
A strong organization is built on trust, dedication, and ideology — not only political convenience.
