An Oak seedling reaches for the sky.

Hunworth Common is home to many mature Oak trees including a number of Notables and at least one Ancient tree recorded in the Woodland Trust Ancient Tree Inventory. This Oak seedling growing inside its protective tree-guard was one of 20 planted on the common during spring of 2022 along with another 480 other trees as part of managed regeneration.
