This petition has been steady at 72 signatures for longer than I am comfortable with. I have not forgoten about the cause and would just like to ask that you spread this to anyone willing to sign. This winter has been colder than most and this means fighting death nightly for homeless people who have no where safe to seek shelter. They should not have to deal with being brutaly uprooted and their stuff being discarded. They have no shelter and it is illeagal for them to just exist on the street. There are many laws in place that make their existance illeagal such as Sec. 38-86.1. - “It is illegal to sit down or lie down on the ground in the BID upon the surface of any public right-of-way or upon any bedding, chair, stool, or any other object placed upon the surface of the public right-of-way from 7am to 9pm."
