YOU DID IT!!! Five THOUSAND signatures!! Oh. My. Goodness. I am blown away!!!

Let's take it to 7,500!!

Will you commit to recruiting five signatures? Where else could you share?

Your comments are amazing — clearly people care deeply about this issue. Here are just some of the reasons for signing:

"As a botanist & a naturalist & a homeowner fighting English ivy & oriental bittersweet, I see daily the damage that invasive plants do."

"Invasive plants are extremely detrimental and should not be sold anywhere!!"

"It's bad enough to see to these plants taking over our roadsides and wild lands. But then to go to big box stores like Home Depot and see them still being sold... Many homeowners don't know any better. Many landscapers either don't know any better or are just going with what's easy and cheap. While one might argue that it's not the job of businesses to educate the public, the least they can do is not sell known invasive species in the very states where they are listed as invasive!"

"Outraged that any store can do wantonly ignore the health of local communities. Our gardens are vital for healthy ecosystems. Stop selling invasive plants."

"Home Depot should not profit from destroying our native ecosystems and biodiversity."

...and so many more!

Here's something you may not be aware of: in 2015, Home Depot agreed to partner with PlantRight in California, and they stopped selling invasive plants there. They even boast about their commitment to the environment. So why is Home Depot still selling invasive plants in other states???

Tell your friends to tell them to STOP. Our future — and our children's future — depends on it.
