I’m starting this petition because too many people are being treated unfairly when they try to buy or rent a home.

At first, everything looks simple. The price seems reasonable. The photos look good. The listing sounds honest. But later, the real story comes out. There are extra charges that were never clearly mentioned. Important details are missing. Sometimes the property is not in the condition people were led to expect.

That is not right.

Finding a home is already stressful. People are making serious financial decisions, and they should not have to deal with hidden fees, vague information, or last-minute surprises. Whether someone is buying their first home, renting an apartment, or moving with their family, they deserve clear and honest information from the beginning.

I am calling on real estate agencies, property websites, and housing authorities to make transparency a basic rule, not an option. Every listing should clearly show the full price, all extra costs, the real condition of the property, and any major legal or structural issues that could affect a buyer or renter’s decision.

Too many people waste time, energy, and money chasing properties that were never presented honestly in the first place. This hurts trust and makes an already difficult process even worse.

The real estate market should be based on honesty, not confusion. People should know exactly what they are getting into before they make such an important decision.
