All Reserve Sheriff's Deputies, Reserve Police Officer, Reserve Deputy Constables, Reserve City Deputy Marshals will soon face a huge problem and be without work if HB 3846 passes into law. It will affect our families, the economy and put more of a strain on usage of Government Help! For ages we have been able to work Traffic Jobs such as Highway Construction, Funeral escorts, Lane Closures all for the protection of the Contractors performing these jobs and the motoring public. This bill has been intoduced and WILL be a huge hit to Public Safety if passed! WE HAVE all the same Mandated training requirements as Full Time Law Enforcement and we cannot work Security Jobs either, when a regular security officer can take a 40 hour class and do the job that we cannot with Hundreds of hours of training and are actual Peace Officers! We Need Help to get this bill knocked down! This will affect alot of Officers, Deputys, and their families, aswell as public safety!

This will greatly impact public safety and take a toll on full time officers that cannot work all these extra jobs then be expected to provide good police service to the community after being tired from working extra jobs plus their regular job.

Right Now is the time to act because if this Bill is passed it will mean way less Law Enforcement being around everywhere working of not, it makes stores, malls, parks, SCHOOLS, way safer knowing one or more of the 81,850 Texas Peace Officers are close by to assist if anyone is in Need! If this Bill passes we will not be able to work, help others as Peace Officers or provide assistance to people who need us, especially in a world like we are in now where everywhere you turn something bad is happening!
