I will also bravely fight for choice of pharmacy as mail order pharmacy carries so many risks.
Who could get by with forcing patients to store their medications without protection in extreme heat and freezing temperatures?
Who could get by with interruptions in treatments and delays as insurance companies force patients to their own mail order pharmacies? These interruptions happen to patients with the most chronic conditions.
Who could do this to our children without someone screaming for the patients and children harmed? Who could sit on the sidelines and watch and not scream injustice?
Answer: the wealthiest healthcare corporations in our nation that have filled the majority of the seats at State Boards of Pharmacy that watch and allow it without consequence.
But not me. Not today. Not ever.
I will forever be thankful for all fo the help and support. I apologize for the last-minute notice. This is normal for many Boards of Pharmacy. Despite the challenges, I cannot verbalize how critical it is that patients and community members begin showing up at their State Boards of Pharmacy.

Supporters, please don't wait for me to speak to legislators and push change and regulation with legislators or your own State Boards of Pharmacy. You can do this too.

On a side note, I also would like to alert our supporters that a scheduled walkout for Walgreens pharmacies is planned for October 9th-11th. Per other pharmacy advocates, at least one Walgreens per state will be impacted by a walkout. The pharmacists are walking out to demand safer working conditions.
