I'm so emotional and filled with hope that I don't even know where to begin. First, thank you to those of you who spoke to the reporter and shared your story. Some have shared stories in the past with reporters only to find the story to never be published. I believe that it could be because the issues with temperature storage are complex. Today, we finally had our break.
To have a national news TV media to highlight the issues with mail order pharmacy and the lack of regulation is a monumental moment for those who have been following the petition.
The hard work by the investigative team of reporters to understand the issues and the lack of regulation deserves to be rewarded. Click here for the investigative digital report.
I'm so thankful to Erica Dean who appeared on NBC Nightly News and also on the Today Show. I'm very thankful to all of the other patients and pharmacists who spoke to the reporter even if they had to remain anonymous. Some shared heartbreaking stories and although your story wasn't told in the digital article or the TV report, sharing your story still had an impact! I'm sure more opportunities will come in future days.
Over the next few days and weeks, I'll share parts of the report with you. Please help to keep these issues in the spotlight by sharing the petition.
Thank you for continuing your support in this fight. I continue to hope for justice and change.
Our supporters are the best!
Thank you,
Loretta Boesing
