We are closer than ever to finally begin to win the fight against pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) such as Optum RX, CVS Caremark, and Express Scripts who abuse their power to unethically force patients to their risky mail-order pharmacy. Many of our beloved supporters have taught me that there are many issues that occur when patients are forced to receive their medications by mail. As you can see in the photo posted by a patient whose medications were left in unsafe conditions, mail-order pharmacy is very loosely regulated. The box even says "perishable." Yet the life-saving medications were left at the end of a long driveway under a bush or tree.

Patients should always have the option to receive their medications through the hands of their trusted pharmacist.  

We want to ensure that all patients have options to protect their medications from poor handling. No one should be forced to receive their medications like this.
