After our heroes NPR shared our story, we ruffled some feathers of some of the people at the very top. Thankfully, our community & independent pharmacists stood up for us! Our voice is being heard!!!

First of the comments was from a strong FORCED mail-order pharmacy & PBM supporter,  Adam Fein who has worked with Express Scripts in the past as a consultant, doubled down on his claim that there isn't any "WIDESPREAD" harm. Notice that he didn't say there weren't any risks. He didn't say that the potency of a child's liquid oral life dependent medication wasn't lost. It was my child. I'm in tears as I write it as I feel we are only a number. To me, one child getting harmed is too many, but I now know that thousands of people are getting harmed and millions of people's lives are being risked, but it doesn't matter because to them. To them, that's a small handful of patients that are getting harmed.  Adam Fein's twitter comments that showed lack of empathy for my son and millions of other patients were quickly overrun by support from our independent pharmacist, caregivers, and patients.

The following day after NPR's news story, the Washington Post published an article almost making mail-order pharmacy almost appear as though it belonged on a pedestal. We know better! I had to find out why. I quickly discovered that Jeff Bezos owns the Washington Post. Jeff Bezos also owns Amazon who also owns Pill Pack, a mail order pharmacy. Read through the comments. The majority of the comments did not put mail-order pharmacy on a pedestal; instead, it revealed the many life-threatening risks and insecurities of people who prefer face to face interaction.

The comments from NPR's facebook where the article was posted & where they shared our story were heartbreaking to read. Afterward, many reached out to me once again to tell me their story. The weight of knowing what I know is heavy. Thank you for supporting me! Here is the link to the NPR's Facebook post. https://www.facebook.com/NPR/posts/10157616835011756

People's lives are at risks. One child is too many. Sadly, I know now there are millions of lives at risks. Children and adults. We must do more. We can do better than this. People deserve options in their coverage that they or we pay for with our tax dollars.

To our supporters, I appreciate you more than you will ever know.

Thank you,

Loretta Boesing

Please continue to sign and share the petition. It's working! Mail order pharmacy could be an option, but not forced.
