Help needed! If you are willing to give just a few minutes, you can make a difference in the lives of many families!

The Ohio House & Senate are meeting to work out the differences between the two budget bills in something called the "Conference Committee." We had a great victory in the Ohio Senate, but now we need Ohio House members on board to help stop forced custody relinquishment of multi-system youth. Although he isn't on the committee, Ohio House Speaker Larry Householder's support is critical.

Could you please e-mail him asking for his support? His e-mail is rep72@ohiohouse.gov. Write to him as a parent and an Ohioan who thinks that the practice of forcing loving parents to relinquish custody of their children with disabilities and mental illnesses in order to obtain necessary treatment is wrong!

What are we specifically asking for? Feel free to copy/paste along with your own words:

"As you work to complete the budget process, please maintain flexible funding for multi-system youth of $6M for 2020 and $12 for 2021 and the language adopted by the Ohio House and amended by the Ohio Senate aimed to end forced custody relinquishment of multi-system youth."

It is important that Speaker Householder receive these e-mails ASAP.
