Exciting news alert: Two more representatives and another senator have co-signed the Food Donation Improvement Act of 2021! Representatives Reschenthaler (R-PA) and Wild (D-PA), as well as Senator Braun (R-IN) have officially joined the fight to stop senseless food waste and fight food insecurity. 

If there’s one thing we know about this group of advocates, it’s that you’re all about getting loud. Since we asked you to use the call tool to contact your senators, TONS of you have. And because of that, our goal of getting the Food Donation Act of 2021 passed is closer than ever! 

Here’s what’s next: On our end, we’re meeting with a number of senators and representatives, urging them to co-sign the Act. While we do that, let’s continue building out our team to get as many people fired up about fighting senseless food waste as we can.
