TONIGHT @ 6:30 PM: They claimed we aren't real. Let's prove them wrong.

FINAL ACTION ALERT: TONIGHT AT 6:30 PM
In just a few hours, the Chatham County Planning Board will convene at the Ag Center to issue its critical recommendation vote on the 630-home Fearrington Preserve rezoning request.
In their formal submittal to County leaders ahead of tonight's meeting, the developer's team attempted to dismiss your voice—claiming in black-and-white print that local opposition is "empirically false," putting the word "signers" in scare quotes, and calling your petition signatures an "ever-so-easy button to push."
The irony? While questioning whether you live in Chatham County, the developer repeatedly claimed in their filing that the project sits in Williams Township.
The property is in Baldwin Township.
An out-of-state developer doesn't even know which township their own project is located in—yet they told County leaders that the families living along Andrews Store, Parker Herndon, and Morris Roads don't count.
While the podium is closed for public comment tonight, our physical presence will speak louder than any developer PDF. When the Planning Board looks up from their desks, let's make sure every single seat is filled with real Chatham County neighbors standing united.

When developers run out of arguments on traffic gridlock, unmitigated floodplains, and double density, they resort to questioning the credibility of the community.
Grab a neighbor, get in the car, and let's pack the room. See you tonight!
