Hello everyone,

  Thank you for signing the petition to stop Aspen and Aspen North neighborhoods from being redistricted by FCPS.  We are more than half way to our goal of 500 signatures!  We are gearing up for several meetings this Fall before a final decision is made, and we wanted to let you know some more ways you can support the cause.  If you have just a few minutes to spare, please consider taking one or more of the following actions:

1. Visit https://www.es41redistrictingstudy.org/ and leave comments on the Boundary Explorer map.  Suggestions include keeping our community together and not lengthening bus time for our students.  FCPS is collecting comments until 9/18.
2. Email boardpubliccomment@fcps.org with your thoughts/comments as a pdf or word doc attached, nothing in the body of the email will be accepted.  The next meeting is 8/27.
3. Attend the virtual information sessions on 9/9, zoom links can be found at https://www.es41redistrictingstudy.org/ (an in person meeting is planned for October)
4. Share our petition!  The more signatures the better, so ask your spouses or partners, ask extended family, share on social media, and ask neighbors or strangers to help us out by visiting https://chng.it/BcB5Jp7zkC
