I have since met numerous others whose loved ones lives have been ended in a similar way. It's impossible to accept the Assisted Dying Bill as being safe when this has obviously happened in so many cases.

I'm so grateful to see so many signatures! Reading some of the comments it is clear to see my Mother wasn't the only one whose life was ended in such a tragic way.I very clearly recall Mum saying to me "Lorraine, please get me out of here! I want to live a few more years yet!" ... and Mum's family thought we had managed to get her out, except for finding her on Midazolam and Morphine on the Friday lunchtime, after a Wednesday afternoon meeting assuring us Mum needed ono further treatment and could be placed on a fast track discharge as she was "In good shape"... The PHSO ignored an A4 page of false medical notes. PALS was no help whatsoever, and the GMC will not investigate the Rheumatology Registrar who ended Mum's life. 

If any of you have time please contact your MP about this and/or the decision makers Yvette Cooper MP and Alex Norris MP. It really needs looking into.
