Over 400,000 to 1 million people pass away every year due to diseases regarding mismanaged waste. We have such a high quantity of plastic that 269,000 tonnes have ended up in our oceans, endangering a vast array of vital species; on top of this issue, 40% of plastics are for single-use purposes! Furthermore, we are suffocating our beloved marine species with this crude invention.

We cannot fix the catastrophy that we have instilled if we continue producing such an excessive amount of plastic that is not even used fully; if we can reduce the amount of plastic that consumer companies produce, then we could have a chance at restoring our planet - but we must act now. 

And fast.

We are producing over 380 million tons of plastic and at this rate, the number is expected to double by 2040 and increase by 2.5 times by 2050 - our biodiversity will be wiped out if this continues.
