I have always been deeply passionate about wildlife conservation. It is heart-wrenching to see companies disregard the sensitive biodiversity ecosystem, we cherish at the Frank Lake IBA/KBA 079. This area is not just a piece of land, but a home to 256 different bird species, 60 of which are protected both federally and provincially. It's an internationally recognized critical habitat, that many of us want to keep safe from development, so that future generations can enjoy this unique biodiversity area.

Now, our beloved sanctuary is under threat again from another industrial project. A company called Enfinite, plans on building and expanding a battery storage facility, right beside this precious habitat. The potential impact on the local environment could be devastating along with local residents.

We must act now, to protect our unique IBA/KBA before its lost to development companies. We call upon local authorities, AUC, and environmental agencies to halt Enfinite's development, and expansion project beside Frank Lake IBA/KBA immediately, in order to safeguard these bird species' habitats from further encroachment.
