THE MAKER ROBOT VS. THE INDUSTRIAL ROBOT

First, thank you for taking a moment to sign our petition. While there is still so much to do in the work to navigate the Humanoid Robot concern, we’ve come a long way. If not already done, please consider sharing / promoting our petition.

Second, I’d like to address and hopefully clarify one point: there are two meaningfully different types of Humanoid Robot. One is of little concern to this petition - while the other is its central concern.

The first type of Humanoid Robot is what could be called, the “Maker Humanoid.” A Maker Humanoid is, basically, something a clever person could build in their garage - perhaps using various 3-D printing techniques as well software to run its higher functions. Our petition is not directed at these Robots.

The second type of Humanoid Robot is the industrial grade Humanoid Robot. This robot is the mass-produced, routinely upgraded, Super 'Artificial Intelligent' machine that can do virtually all human tasks. Something like the Tesla Optimus (LINK HERE) .THIS is the robot that we hope to STOP.
