(the following was written without ChatGPT, etc.)

Hello:

It’s not clear what might be more frightening - a scenario in which these tools are error prone, or one in which they are efficient beyond our ability to oversee them. Assuming they are made to “roam free” out in the open, I’m sure we’ll see both scenarios.

These tools (humanoid robots) seem like a bewildering hybrid between a wild animal and puppet of corporate administrators - the quirks displayed by these machines in their daily activity will be intermittently effective, docile, and spontaneous, as well their overarching objectives will be, in part, constrained to the narrative of those who create or operate them.

Any sustainable ecosystem in which we can manage these machines is, I believe, on the other side of a proactive attempt to create boundaries for these machines at the local level. Please share and support this campaign to STOP Humanoid Robots - as a beginning measure to establish these boundaries.

Sincerely,

Michael Christensen
