A Remark on a Poorly Worded Technology Article Title

(The following was written without the use of ChatGPT, etc.)
Hello
I suppose it's important to not spend so much time or energy chasing headlines, or calling out every last unfortunately worded article (because the real work is in trying to envision what the world perhaps should look like).
However, I did find an article recently that clearly demonstrated a cultural deficient in our societies relationship to these technologies.
The title of the article was: ‘AI Outsmarted 30 of the World’s Top Mathematicians’ (here's a link to the article, if interested.)
The anthropomorphizing of this articles title - or attributing human characteristics to non-human things - is absurd and a little troubling. (If I may, I think a more accurate title might have been:
"Clever, Mathematically Proficient Engineers Developed [or Used] Advanced Computers [or Computer Software] that Enabled Them To Solve Math Problems at a Rate Faster [More Precise] Than Top Mathematicians In a Highly Controlled, Highly Structured Scenario." )
Without question, language is fluid - and our freedom to describe things in the manner we see fit is a pillar of our civilization. But I think given how much control we have in creating these technologies, it would not be out of line to also establish in parallel some official, academic (if not religious) lexicon to describe these things - and not allow the aimless culture of catchy memes or 'click bait' to wholly define the most powerful tools humankind has ever created.
In any event, this variety of linguistic issue is particularly dangerous in the context of humanoid robots - which could be made to embody a wide range of human behaviors and characteristics.
That concludes my remarks. Thank you for taking the time to read - and of course more importantly, to support this petition.
Sincerely,
Michael-
