A Petition Update, a Thanks, and an Article Share

(The following was written without ChatGPT, etc.)
Hi, all
First, I admit I'm proud to say that we've almost reached 200 signatures on this petition. That's a good amount of people -- particularly for so eclectic a cause. Thank you all for your support.
Second, a special thanks to Lester Scott who recently and unexpectedly gave some extra promotional support to our campaign. Thank you, Mr Scott - it's been a great help.
Third, I recently read an article by a CEO of a robotics company. He put forward his belief that the future of robotics wouldn't be of the 'humanoid,' or biomimicry variety. Instead, he championed a variety of function based design robots -- more in the vein of something like the 'Roomba.'
In one sense, this is a relief to hear someone take this position - in another sense, this does bypass a core issue (namely that our culture needs to be far more prepared than it is to receive fleets of robots - humanoid or otherwise). So while I don't want the subject of this petition to stray too far, I also wish to be comprehensive -- and have reached out to this CEO to see if he'd be willing to respond to a few general questions. (Here's a link to his article, for your reference.)
Sincerely,
Michael Christensen-
