With my exhibition project being tomorrow, my work is going to be extended into the summer and next year.  I have been in contact with the Alderman and his office about increasing publicity about E-Waste recycling in the 48th Ward. I just recently talked with the Alderman and we figured a couple things out that will help me take action.  One thing is sending out in the Alderman's newsletter to the ward a date that people can come and donate all the old electronics that they have to the Alderman's office that will then be given to the proper people to be recycled.  We will figure out some more of those details.   The other thing we talked about is launching a pilot project at Peirce next school year to help set an example of how schools should deal with E-Waste.  This would be the disposal of ChromeBooks, SMARTBoards, etc. I will continue to be in contact as this moves along more.
