The House votes today!! Call before 12pm
Last week, veterans won a huge victory.
The Senate voted 35 to 20 to stop DVA imposing financial caps and cost-triggered restrictions on veterans’ allied health care.
The protections stop DVA requiring extra reviews or evidence, or delaying, suspending or refusing care, simply because a veteran’s treatment is approaching or exceeds an arbitrary dollar amount.
Today, that fight moves to the House of Representatives.
Labor has the numbers in the House. But Labor MPs now have a choice: stand with veterans and support the Senate’s protections, or vote them down.
We need you to call before 12pm today.
These MPs represent communities with thousands of veterans and serving ADF members. Their offices need to hear one clear message before they walk into the chamber:
