URGENT: We are almost there!!! On March 7th the Planning Committee DENIED the request of Dollar General to build on the corner of Hwy 22 W & Dutch Lane. BUT it was ONLY because residents showed up to voice concerns that the commission voted this way! However, the FIGHT is not over: the Tangipahoa Parish Council has the final say. They are having a meeting on  Monday, March 27th @ 5:30PM. The location of this meeting is:

PLEASE spread the word and encourage your family, friends, & other residents to attend this meeting. No one is required to speak but you are encouraged to do so. Try to limit your spot to 2-3 minutes. 

What else can you DO? Email/Call the Council Members (ALL of them) to voice your concerns and that you EXPECT them to protect us, the residents, as their constituents! Here is their information:
