We need you to turn out for 30 minutes.

The outline planning application for up to 350 homes on Green Wedge land off Moorway Lane will be considered by the Planning Committee on Thursday evening.

We are asking as many people as possible to join us outside the main front doors of Derby Council House.

🕔 Gathering from 5pm

Give our countryside 30 minutes of your time.

If you'd like to, you can also, attend the planning session at 5.45pm in the public gallery.

Hands off our green spaces.

Green Wedges aren't simply empty fields waiting to be built on. They provide links to the countryside and form part of Derby's wider green infrastructure network.

We need connected green spaces for nature, not isolated pockets surrounded by development.

And we need serious consideration of traffic, highways, road safety and the infrastructure required to support hundreds of additional homes.

This isn't about political parties. It's about our community.

Please come and peacefully show how strongly local people feel.
